Exhibition Nordic Nature
NORDIC NATURE

The Nordic Nature exhibition is organized by Nordic Bookbinding Society in collaboration with the Icelandic National and University Library and the Icelandic bookbinders JAM-group.
We would like to thank all bookbinders and book artists who took part in the exhibition! There were 59 entries altogether from all the Nordic countries and even beyond. So many wonderful different ways to approach the theme of the exhibition. Congratulations everyone for your great work! We hope that this exhibition will be an inspiration for us all and also to new binders.
Welcome to enjoy the exhibition in its many forms!
You can visit the Nordic Nature physical exhibition at the National and University Library of Iceland in Reykjavik. It opened 23rd of April and will be open until 1st of September. Please note that the library will be closed for two weeks’ summer holiday beginning Monday 21st of July and will reopen again Tuesday 5th of August. What a wonderful excuse to travel to Iceland if you ever needed one! https://landsbokasafn.is/
You can see the exhibition online: https://www.nordicnature.online/. Alongside the details and the descriptions of the bindings there are several photos of each binding. Click them open to enjoy the full view of them.
At the exhibition website you will also find links to 3D images of the bindings. The images open in Sketchfab, which is hosting the big 3D files. If you like, you can sign in and start to follow the account StevieBoy9395!

PA prize
This was not a competition but as stated in our articles of association, one of the participants was to be awarded the PA prize (150 €). The selection was to be made by the NBS exhibition committee, and they wished to give the award for outstanding craftsmanship.
The committee chose to give the award to Thea Stenkamp, who is a student in Leksand Folkhögskola.
Congratulations Thea for your beautiful binding!
